Colossians: Complete in Christ

Acts: Idolatry Economics 101

What do Demetrius the silversmith from the first century, the NCAA, and some large corporations all have in common? What do Paul the apostle, the state of North Carolina, and the legislature of the Island of Bermuda all have in common? The answer to both questions is - a lot. And, understanding that answer tells us how relevant the Bible's message and teaching from Acts is for today. Mark: Matthew's Party

How do feel about the people who collect our taxes? Nobody really likes to pay taxes, but would you seriously equate tax collectors with robbers and murderers? Mark describes Jesus' call of Levi the tax collector as an example of how we should interact with those we dislike. God loves the unlovable.
