How do feel about the people who collect our taxes? Nobody really likes to pay taxes, but would you seriously equate tax collectors with robbers and murderers? Mark describes Jesus' call of Levi the tax collector as an example of how we should interact with those we dislike. God loves the unlovable.

1 Peter: Good Works That Glorify God

The Christian is to be passionate about glorifying God. Why? Because God has done so much for us! How are we to glorify God? Peter says through our good works. What good works did Peter have in mind? Interestingly enough he begins with submission!
