Colossians: Endurance and Patience

These are two traits every Christian desperately needs and Paul prayed for himself and others in Colossians. They are the very traits our culture seems unable to produce... in fact it produces the opposite.

Colossians 1:1-12

Colossians: Real Power, Real Help, Real Change

In someways it is simple: Know God's will and then do it... but once I know it I need power to do it. Paul knows; listen to his answer in this companion prayer to our study in Colossians.

Acts: The Ordinary Doing the Extraordinary

The world has been changed by ordinary people doing extraordinary things through the grace and power of God. In our study of Acts we will be inspired by some normal folks with their various strengths and weaknesses: Paul, Barnabas, Mark, Silas and Timothy. We will look at how God used each of them, and them together, to change the world. This is still His strategy today... this study will be a great encouragement to us ordinary folks and how God can use us!

The Glory of Christ: His Love

We conclude our study of The Glory of Christ by ascending to the heights of His glory and gazing on His love. Paul prays that we would be given strength from the Father to just begin to comprehend this love that is the praise of heaven and will be forever!
