True Greatness!

We live in a Celebrity Saturated Age. We (as a culture) love celebrities, and wish we could be one. We try, on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, to get that chance to go viral. Most all of us fail to reach the allusive status. Woe are we... the losers in the celebrity lottery, never to be great. But then, Jesus comes along and so radically redefines what greatness is that He calls us to completely change the way we think. And, He gives us a true shot at greatness in the sight of God!!! What is True Greatness? This will be our study. It will be both challenging but also powerfully liberating!!!

The Glory of Christ: His Humiliation

The Glory of Christ is seen in what theologians call His Humiliation. We see humiliation as a negative..."I have never been so humiliated in my life". But the willingness of so great a being as God the Word to lower Himself so much and to do it so willingly is presented in Scripture as a wonderful, mysterious, glorious thing that should affect how we live.
